Electric bicycles are popular because of their speed,low cost,and lack of regulatory training.The rapid increase in the number of possessions and the lack of commuter traffic regulations have led to a continuous increase in road traffic accidents involving electric bicycles,and in particular,collisions with small cars have caused more than half of the riders to suffer casualties.The reconstruction of traffic accidents is an effective means to restore the accident process.Speed reconstruction is the core of the entire accident reconstruction work and the basis for the division of accident responsibilities.Scholars have conducted many studies on the reconstruction of car speeds in the collision accidents of small cars and electric bicycles.However,in actual situations,the lack of information in some cases has limited the applicability of many methods,and there are some contents that need further study.Therefore,this paper proposes a method to calculate the vehicle speed based on the distance difference between the electric bicycle and the rider.The information needed by the method is easy and fast to obtain,which provides a new idea for speed reconstruction.Electric electric bicycles in commissioned cases in recent years.statistical case information to analyze the characteristics of such accidents;then it introduces the accident reconstruction work process and common software,and then builds PC-CRASH and MADYMO simulation mode based on a real accident case,using simulation model and the application of this model to filter accident sensitive parameters,Finally the variable parameters simulation study the relationship between throw distance and sensitive parameters.The main research results of this paper are as follows(1)Statistics show that electric bicycle accidents frequently occur from May to October every year and from 7 o'clock to 8 o'clock every day too.Collisions between electric bicycles and automobiles mostly occur at the intersections of city roads or zebra crossings.Accidents are caused more than 50% of cyclists' casualties with small cars;the lower limbs and head are the most vulnerable areas for cyclists.Helmets can effectively increase the cyclist collision death threshold,but in reality few people wear them.The simulation contrasts and analyzes the difference between an electric bicycle and a small-sized car and a flat-head truck collision.In the collision with a small-sized car the dynamic response process of the cyclist is more complicated the human body takes longer to land and the peak acceleration of the head is also higher.(2)Using the PC-CRASH and MADYMO co-simulation platform to reconstruct a typical accident and verify the reliability of the model by observing the process of collision response the stopping position of people and vehicles and the cyclist injury parameters.(3)Set up orthogonal test to screen out the sensitive parameters affecting the throw distance of electric bicycles and cyclists.It is the speed and collision angle of small cars.Carry out 81 variable-parameter simulation experiments to obtain the distribution of head collision points,the law of speed and angle changes to establish a fitting formula and verify the accuracy of the formula with the case in the literature.The research results of this paper can be used for small cars--electric bicycles In addition some of the results of results analysis processes and damage characteristics during the analysis process obtained have implications for the vehicle manufacturers to improve the vehicle structure and provide reference for the relevant departments to formulate laws and regulations.The calculation of the vehicle speed in an electric bicycle crash accident is of great significance to the reconstruction work and the responsibility determination.In addition,some statistical results,response processes and damage characteristics obtained have implications for the vehicle manufacturers to improve the vehicle structure during the analysis process and provide reference for the relevant departments to formulate laws and regulations.
