A Study On The Improvement Of Cost Control In West Dongting Logistics Park Construction Project

With the pressure of gradual compression of market space and profit space in China’s construction industry,only the construction enterprises improve their management level can they achieve steady development in the fierce competition environment.So strengthening the cost control of construction project is vital for the development of construction enterprises.Therefore,the introduction of a scientific and efficient cost control approach is critical to the construction project.This paper discussed the theory and method of the cost control of construction project,the whole process cost control theory is applied in cost control of construction project.In this paper,a case study is carried out based on the construction project of West Dongting Logistics Park of Dongfang Construction Company.It analyzed the present situation of cost control and found that the construction project is lack of consciousness of the whole process cost control in the cost control.And in construction stage,the cost accounting of this project lacked a scientific method of cost control.Then,based on the analysis of the problems,this paper puts forward some improvement measures to the cost control of the case project.The cost control of construction project should be based on the whole process cost control,and establish the cost control process of advance planning,control and post-analysis.In the construction preparation stage,a perfect cost control organization system should be established and a complete cost plan should be set up to provide the target for the cost control in the later stage.In the construction stage,the earned value method should be used to analyze the cost and schedule of construction projects,to track and examine the cost responsibilities of each department and position,which can ensure the construction project cost control goals to be achieved smoothly.In the completion stage,the project completion acceptance and completion settlement should be completed in time and efficiently,and the actual cost of the project shall be analyzed and summarized.
