Research On The Whole Process Cost Management Of A Construction Project

The construction project is the huge and complicated project which requires a number of investments and cost plenty of time.Cost management as an indivisible part of construction project,it is the priority among priorities.There are still some shortcomings in domestic cost management system so far,which make our cost management very difficult to improve.Therefore,it is an imminent task that we need to do the research on cost management for improvement of construction project.With the development of science and technology,we achieved some improvements on cost management currently.China is a populous country with vast territory which leads to most construction project with huge investments here.So far,project cost management model from developed countries are more advanced compare to China,so it is very hard to achieve promoting effect on construction project due to our under-developed cost management system.Achieve cost management target is the key point to promote our construction project development,and the whole process cost management is the fundamental guarantee of this target.So study from overseas advanced experience is the only way to improve our cost management quality.The whole process cost management system just resolve insoluble questions under traditional cost management model.Base on the comparison and evaluation of domestic and foreign whole process cost management system,this paper gave a brief description of the concept of cost management,meanwhile,analyzed the similarities and differences during project approval periodplanning programming period,bidding and building period.Analyzed the features and practical significance of whole process cost management and summarized its good and bad point.This paper is aimed to provide experiences as reference for scientific cost management.
