Optimization Research Of Urban Residential Area Suited To Senior Citizens Based On Bielefeld Model

At present,China is facing with the serious population aging problem.In this background,my topic focuses on Chinese urban residential area suited to senior citizens.The number of elderly people living in the cities is huge with high density and obvious characteristic,which need diverse living ways to think and solve the problem of aging in China.As European countries with high levels of aging,they start to embark on a systemic response to ageing in the world in the early time,and its rich research experience and mature pension strategy have important reference value to the development of China’s aging industry,Bielefeld Model is one of the representatives.This article hopes to optimize the layout of aged groups in urban residential areas based on Bielefeld Model,to provide an optimum solution to the described residential model with a comfortable living for the senior citizens in China.This thesis is divided into six chapters:the first chapter mainly introduces the research topic origin,background,purpose,significance and methods;The second chapter is the comprehensive survey and analysis to Bielefeld Model;The third chapter analyses and demonstrates the applicability of the German Bielefeld Model suited in China with comparison;The fourth chapter expounds that combined with the actual situation of China,the urban residential optimization strategies are proposed with three aspects,which are Planning Layout Strategies and Space Update Strategies and Management Operation Strategies,based on Bielefeld Model.The strategies combine with the feature of Chinese urban elderly life,layout the reasonable planning of the elderly group as the unit,and build the foundation of Homecare with the old service provided by institutions or enterprises.It should be emphasized to form multi-level age structure and the sustainability of neighborhood planning layout strategy while the strategies summarize the implement methods of optimal space design to satisfy the spiritual life of old people and the social demand;The fifth chapter puts forward one example designed by comfortable residential promotion proposal,which is selected from the residential region near Northeastern University in the Heping District,Shenyang City,Liaoning Province,to carry on the preliminary design and provide some feasible ideas with the combination of optimization strategies;The sixth chapter proposes the conclusion and prospect.As the opportunity of country’s emphasis on aging and the open block construction,this thesis hopes to provide design reference for demonstration and practice on the points of planning layout,space update and management operation so that urban residential areas in China become suitable and comfortable for the elderly in their whole lifetime,by reference to the development characteristic of Bielefeld Model.
