As an important cultural and educational organization in Chinese traditional culture,Traditional Academies promote the popularization and development of Chinese traditional culture in more than a thousand years.However,the spirit and the function of Traditional Academies are gradually missing,it leads to the decline of the Traditional Academies space.The small-scale traditional academy located on the edge of the city or in the countryside has gradually disappeared.Based on a single case study approach,this paper focuses on the Guanghua College in Chenghai.By way of qualitative research,the author dig deep into the profit and conflicts of government,clan gentry,villagers and alien forces associated with the Traditional Academy.This paper use the research methods of design thinking to analyze the conflict of values between the complex contradictions.Also,the author base on direct practice----ChengHai Guan Shan College,held a special design exhibition.In the process of curating,the author intervened in the multi-stakeholder group of Guan Shan College.Under the background of the multiple cognitive cognition,Traditional Academies is no longer a single college space,but also carries the compound function.The author believes that the traditional college,especially rural small-scale traditional college development,need to meet the "top-down" and "bottom-up" profit of the two groups,the college is not only a cultural place,but also with the local people's life Closely integrated into a composite development body.It is the core of long-term development of traditional academies to reconstruct the environment of the academies by revisiting the spirit of the academy,and re-creating the college environment with the ideological transmission and speculative spirit.
