On The Spatial Reconstruction And Protection Of Traditional Academy Buildings

As a cultural and educational place,Chinese traditional academies carry the important mission of education and dissemination of ancient Chinese traditional culture.With the reform of the academy,as a material carrier,it has gradually become a relic.Although the protection of academy buildings has been strengthened throughout China in recent years,the dilapidation continues.Nowadays,the surviving academies can be roughly divided into schools at all levels,tourist attractions,cultural relics and cultural preservation units.The well-preserved academies,with a certain historical value and a large building scale,are mostly independent,self-contained or located in scenic spots and have become tourist attractions.In contrast,the ruins of academies,which form part of modern schools,have been neglected.In fact,most of these college sites have become dilapidated,or other buildings have been built on the college sites,and the original buildings have gradually fallen into decay.These problems,with the strengthening of people’s awareness of the protection of Chinese traditional architecture and cultural confidence,will become more and more the key to the protection of traditional academy buildings can not avoid.By analyzing the value and composition of the interior space of traditional Chinese academy buildings,and taking Lantai Academy of Zhongxiang City,Hubei Province as the research object,this paper demonstrates the reconstruction strategy of the interior space of academies,and provides reference for the protection and reuse of traditional academy buildings.The thesis is divided into the following four parts:In the first part,the paper explains the necessity of the design project by elaborating the research background,and defines the concept involved in the design.Defining the design objectives,and determining the purpose,significance,content and method of the research to provide direction for the later research.The second part,the basic research of traditional Chinese academy building space reconstruction: first,through to our country traditional culture academy building space of comb,understand the historical context,to catch the spirit connotation of traditional college buildings,then analysis the characteristics of space inside the traditional academy and space reconstruction,to explore the value of the building interior space form and reform direction,and then sums up the relevant policy of historical building protection at home and abroad with the documents and historical building protection theory basis and the principle,tries todiscuss the hubei zhongxiang Lantai academy building interior space protection and reuse of the specific principles.The third part,taking Lantai Academy in Zhongxiang City,Hubei Province as an example,carries out the internal space reconstruction of the academy: on the basis of the construction history and the current situation of the building,the theory and method studied above are specifically applied to the protection and reconstruction.In the fourth part,combining the design achievements of Lantai Academy,the spatial reconstruction strategy of Lantai Academy is discussed with the starting point of the reconstruction of the physical space and cultural space of Lantai Academy.Finally,the theoretical research and design practice are summarized and the prospect is made.
