A Study On Urban Color Planning And Application In Xiangtan

Xiangtan City is located in middle eastward region of Hunan Province.Xiangtan,Changsha and Zhuzhou are all experimental center cities of “resource-economical and environment-friendly society” comprehensive supplementary reform in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan city group.Due to rapid development of urbanization,urban construction of Xiangtan City has great impacts on traditional urban pattern and urban landscape.Mixed and disordered urban colors and lack of characteristics are problems to be solved in Xiangtan City at present.In this thesis,urban colors in Xiangtan City are taken for example.Based on Urban Color Planning in Xiangtan City,regional characteristics,historical contexts,folk customs,product characteristics,cultural and natural environmental factors of Xiangtan City are analyzed.Then in line with development requirements of new-type urbanization,urban color features of Xiangtan City are reasonably fixed.Through color adjustment,a beautiful city with high identifiability can be created.The formation of urban color characteristics cannot live without the implementation of the planning.Only when the planning is effectively conducted can the guiding function of the planning be truly exerted.However,seen from current situation of China's planning industry,the planning is not fully implemented.For urban color planning,in the implementation and management process,there will be contradictions among different interest subjects.Based on the management mechanism of urban colors stipulated in Urban Color Planning in Xiangtan City,methods and measures to formulate an urban color management system for Xiangtan City are proposed.Besides,according to the implementation measures and situations of urban color management in Xiangtan City,problems existing in the practice of urban color planning in Xiangtan City are analyzed and improve opinions are put forward,with a view to improve the urban color management system in Xiangtan City.
