The Application Study Of Color Psychology In Urban Color Land Scape Planning And Design

Because of our long history, profound culture, vast geographic disparity and many nationalities, many unique city have been formed, and most of these cities have excellent artistic style. The city color, as an important factor in the composition of the urban environment, has played more and more prominent impact on the quality of the urban environment and urban art style. With the rapid development of urban construction, people’s living standards improve, and the living environment is gradually improving. Meanwhile, a lot of monotony cities and towns which have no aesthetic characteristics have emerged. The original style pattern, interpersonal nostalgia have arased, along with the demolition and reconstruction of a large area. Too much disorganized architectural landscape color will have a negative impact on the human psychology and physiology, and the city will lose its original cultural characteristics. Therefore, the study on the planning and design of city color landscape in China has a certain degree of importance and urgencyColor as the external things of the most direct information communicated carrier, has more intuitive, distinctiveness, performance and visual impact than other visual elements. Color psychology is subjective reflection of the objective world. When different wavelengths of the light act on the human visual organ to produce color sense, the mental activity with emotion will inevitably be producing. Color physiological and psychological check each other and linked. But the color has a certain subjective perception, affected by geography, culture and history.International academia concerns "City Colors" earlier, and very significant results about the corresponding research and practice issues in urban construction and management have achieved. The research towards "City Colors " is very weak in domestic academia, compared to other areas in terms of improving the quality of the urban environment, and there is a huge gap between the rapid pace of development and the large-scale practical activities to improve the quality of the urban environment.In this paper, we start from the point of view of color psychology, based on basic principles and design rules of color, summarize the principles and methods of urban color landscape planning and design, and then find a reasonable color design methods and principles to prevent the harmness on humans psychology caused by inappropriate use of urban color. Through the delicate analysis of the Tokyo city color transformation, some valuable suggestions on the standardization and professionalization of China’s urban landscape planning and design are provided.
