There are a lot of low energy ions in the space environment,which play an important role in human life.Through the detection of space low energy ions,we can help people understand the mechanism of solar activity and its influence on the earth's magnetosphere.Low energy ion spectrometer working environment is geosynchronous orbit(L=6.6),the energy detection period is 0.1?18keV.covering local ring current relatively low energy,it can directly or indirectly deduce global distribution of ring current ions and serving the space weather monitoring and warning.On the other hand,the wave particle interaction is the main mechanism of inner magnetospheric particle acceleration and loss.Low energy ion spectrometer can directly measure ion phase space density distribution,to achieve A semi space energy spectrum detection of ion three-dimensional velocity distribution by a single instrument on three axis stabilized satellite,it can be used to analyze the related fluctuations in the production and distribution of plasma characteristics,and help to understand the radiation belt/acceleration/ring current particle loss process,with the more important scientific significance[1].According to the mission requirements of low energy ion spectrometer,the load ground detection system is researched and developed in this project,which provides a strong guarantee for debugging,testing and performance calibration experiments of low energy ion spectrometer.In this paper,the requirement of the ground based detection system for the low energy ion energy spectrometer is analyzed,and the working principle of the ground inspection system is introduced.The ground inspection data management circuit board takes the Microsemi company SmartFusion2 FPGA chip as the control core,the USB interface is controlled to realize communication with the host computer software through FPGA,The load data is uploaded to the ground inspection data management circuit board through the LVDS interface,and the data injection is packaged into a fixed format by FPGA and then sent to the load through the RS-422 interface.The design and development of the upper computer software on the ground detection based on NI Labwindows/CVI platform,and it has data acquisition,parsing,on-line state monitoring,off-line data analysis,EEPROM(Electrically Erasable Programmable read only memory)automatic configuration function,it save the manpower in the development of the low energy ion spectrometer and improve the reliability of low energy ion spectrometer.The design scheme proposed by this paper has good applicability and expansibility for ground detection system.It can be applied to the design of ground inspection system with different carrying projects after little modified,and it is of reference to other engineering projects.
