With the continuous upgrading of the models,the related auto body parts are also iterating continuously.There are a lot of related researches on auto body parts at home and abroad,but a lot of manual modeling operations are still needed in the body part design process.Through analysis,research,and discovery,there are two main problems: One of them is that the secondary development of CAD lags behind the introduction of new products.The current research is out of touch with the needs of reality;the other problem is that the current CAD system development is only developed by cloning traditional manual modeling methods.This method has low robustness and cannot adapt to the development of complex body parts.On the Siemens NX platform,this paper developed a computer-recognizable exchange protocol,analyzed a variety of modeling methods and combined with the characteristics of the computer can only recognizes simple modeling steps but has high computational performance,and proposed a computer-based modeling process for knowledge-embedded body parts based on a collaborative environment.The main content of this topic:(1)Define and design an appropriate intelligent information exchange protocol based on the component model to realize the exchange and identification of design information between the OEMs and suppliers.On this basis,the automatic generation,editing and verification of the geometric structure are realized.The protocol not only includes conventional geometric attributes,but also includes non-geometric attributes including expert experience,design rules,and detection principles,and provides interfaces for later-stage geometric processing.(2)With a goal of automated structure generation,a set of specific modeling methods for computers rather than humans is constructed.And ensure that the method has simplicity,consistency,normativeness,and robustness in operation and flow.(3)Explore the coupling of knowledge engineering(KBE)and parametric methods in the design process of auto body parts,and realize the automatic establishment,modification and inspection of auto body part parametric models through knowledge coordination.(4)Based on Siemens NX platform,through the secondary development,the above procedures and methods are programmed,tooled,and verified the feasibility of the entire program.
