In order to ensure the safety of firefighters and their work requirements,the demands of the informational firefighting command equipment of the new era have become increasingly urgent.Intelligent fire fighting equipment,as an important part of it,needs to have strong scalability,including the functions of integrated information collection,analysis and transmission in many aspects such as communication,physiological information monitoring and fire environment monitoring,and has a very broad application prospect.This article focuses on intelligent fire helmet system heart rate monitoring and communication functions of two parts of research and design.The research contents include the research of heart rate monitoring method,the design of heart rate monitoring software algorithm,the design of heart rate monitoring hardware,the design of communication part and the final experiment and test.In the study of heart rate monitoring methods,the existing methods are briefly introduced and compared.The photoelectric sensor reflective acquisition method,which selected the principle of photoplethysmography(PPG),was used as the acquisition method of heart rate signal.Described in detail the method used and identified the program.In the design of heart rate monitoring software algorithm,the heart rate signal feature extraction algorithm and the motion artifact denoising algorithm are selected by comparison and studied.The algorithm based on the db4wavelet-based pulse wave feature extraction algorithm,based on the Least Mean Square(LMS)adaptive noise canceller model of the motion noise reduction algorithm,motion noise reduction algorithm using three-axis accelerometer data as a reference noise source.Heart rate monitoring hardware design,introduction and selection of suitable components for hardware design,including sensor module,data processing unit and a small amount of peripheral circuits.In the design ofcommunication part,we first determined the interphone as the communication body,then chose the type of Bluetooth chip,and based on it,we designed the peripheral hardware circuit of interphone Bluetooth adapter,and finally added the setting of Bluetooth CVC function.The system test results show that the design of pulse wave feature extraction algorithm based on db4 wavelet,validated on the Physio Net biological database,the accuracy rate of 99.07%.For the signal of physical collection,the accuracy rate is higher than that of the mature heart rate hand ring products on the market.The noise reduction algorithm based on LMS adaptive noise canceller can effectively reduce the noise of the pulse signal with motion artifact.After the noise reduction,we can further use the pulse feature extraction algorithm to get the heart rate.The physical test of the communication function proves that the equipment has good operating performance and meets the design requirements.The design not only can realize the physiological information monitoring and communication function of intelligent fire fighting equipment,but also meets the requirements of subsequent development of high-performance hardware design and shows excellent scalability.
