In recent years, China has a large number of cardiovascular disease patients, and it's showed an increasing trend. The patient's heart activity data can provide an important basis for diagnosis and treatment. Cardiovascular disease patients are distributed all over the country, but the distribution of medical conditions is not balanced. The traditional dynamic electrocardiograph generally equipped at the municipal hospitals. The use of it is expensive,and need high professional operation. Therefore the portable heart rate monitor has great prospects for development. The thesis designs a portable heart rate monitor based on a measurement of the pulse, which both conventional dynamic electrocardiogram and pulse measuring instrument, not only reduces the cost of the instrument, but also reduce the difficulty of using, which will provide a positive effect on heart disease prevention.First of all, thesis introduced the heart structure and function, analyzed the characteristics of each part of the ECG signal causes and modes of transmission, ECG signal measurement method of ECG signal and the part is represented by a physiological significance. In this thesis, the mechanism of pulse wave is introduced, and the waveform of pulse signal is analyzed in detail. Through the comparison between the waveform of pulse and electrocardiogram, design extraction algorithm of time signals from the pulse rate, used to analysis the heart rate data indexes of time domain, frequency domain indices and scattered point diagram analysis method is described. Selection of Physio Bank Database population health, cardiac sudden death type in patients with heart failure and heart failure patients several populations of ECG data was used to analyze the data, in 2D scatter plots, 3D scattered point diagram, the image will produce all kinds of cardiovascular diseases in patients with showing significant differences.Secondly, portable monitor need data collection for a long time, the system requires high accuracy and small disturbance. In this thesis, the STM32F103 microprocessor which is produced by ST company is designed to monitor the heart rate monitor system based on the pulse signal and the corresponding data processing software. In the hardware circuit design of the monitor by photoelectric sensor additional filter and amplifier to realize the signal acquisition, completed on the SD card data storage using the fat file system operation,selected the GPRS module to realize the remote monitoring of patients' heart rate data. Based on ARM7 hardware platform design of pulse signal acquisition circuit and corresponding processing circuit, and introduces the main function module of the system design.Then, the analysis software which is matched with the portable heart rate monitor was designed with LABVIEW. The software can process the original pulse data and extract the heart rate data contained in the pulse signal data. Has a friendly user interface intuitive,statistical testing time heartbeat, showed the fastest rate position, the slowest HR position, and several kinds of index of heart rate variability. To complete the processing of 2D and 3D scattered point graph visualization can realize multi angle observation three-dimensional scatter pattern, in teaching and clinical application has certain use value.The software has the advantages of simple operation, rich functions and low production cost.Finally, field test on the design of heart rate monitoring system. The test results showed that this system can be completed on pulse data for a long time measurement, storage and analysis, and easy to wear, to obtain measurement data error rate is low. The system performance is reliable, the plan is feasible, can satisfy the daily activity or the family life to the user heart rate monitor the request.
