| With the coming of post-industrial era,and the acceleration of urbanization development,more and more problems occur in the city.The planning and design of urban public space has increasingly become the focus of attention of the governments and people.Urban public space determines the appearance of the city and the people’s quality of life.It is not only the physical space,but also the social space and cultural space,so the management of the urban public space has the very vital significance to the public’s life.In recent decades,China’s rapid economic development has always been focused on the improvement of material life.The planning and construction of the city,tend to focus on real estate development and commercial interests,ignoring the cultural and social significance in the physical space.In traffic construction,for example,to solve the increasingly serious traffic congestion problem the current domestic cities are to speed up the construction of urban rail transit.And then the construction of urban rail transit site quickly appeared in the important transport hub location in the city.Every day there are a lot of people to enter and use the urban residents.It has brought important influence to people’s daily life.But in the planning and design and operation management of urban rail transit,as the lack of focus on its social and cultural significance and blindly pursue economic benefit,commercial can be seen everywhere on the subway public space.How to create urban rail transit site and its public space in it’s surrounding areas,and inject social and cultural connotation to the space to stimulate the public space,and can achieve the social,cultural,and economic benefit of the space is a problem which needs to be settled.At the same time,how to adhere to the fundamental value of public in the process of urban public space design and building;how to play the cultural and social significance of public space and social function,so as to realize the connection of people,people and space,strengthen urban residents’ social identity.And on this basis,the main problem this paper want to solve is how to promote the development of the economic production capacity of the place and to promote the development of cultural creative industry.This paper is based on the theory of space and public space,and draw lessons from western urban renewal and construction theory and practical experience and take the metro station public space construction in Shanghai as the research object.Analyzing its present situation,problems and reasons.Finally,I have discussed the general principles and paths in construction of public space of city subway station in this paper.The concludes of this paper are that the construction of the city’s public space in the subway stations should be powered by culture,utilizing the means such as public art,and urban design to create the material space,to improve the quality of life of urban residents,to strengthen the social identity,to revitalize the culture and vitality of subway station area,and,at last,to promote the development of cultural creative industries and realize the development of culture,economy and society all-round of the public space in Shanghai metro stations. |
