Research On Traditional Settlement And Architectural Morphology Of Zhang Keng Village In Central Min

Chinese traditional village is the producer and the inheritance of traditional culture,it is a powerful witness of China's five thousand years farming civilization,and it's the important carrier of the Chinese local culture.Traditional villages all over the word gave birth to the colorful traditional architecture blend in nature,culture and social environment.Central Min in history is the latest development place of Fujian province,as usual,the focus of the traditional architecture in Fujian province is mostly concentrated in the Hakka Tulou in Western Min and Big Red-brick House in the south of Fujian province and so on,yet there is very few studies for Fujian traditional architecture of Central Min,though there are some,they are more focused on the Earth Fort such as Anzhen fort,Anliang fort,and the Pipa fort etc,and there will be very less research on other forms traditional architecture in the middle area of Fujian province.So,the paper chooses the Zhangkeng village which was selected in the list of the fourth batch of Chinese traditional villages in 2016,and which is still maintained the original style.The paper integrated use of literature research methods and field research methods,and follow the angle of architecture,studying on the causes and the features of the village site layout,the constituent elements of the Village space,the plane form,the space layout,the structure,the function,and the decoration of the traditional architecture.Up to now,Zhangkeng village still have more than 50 traditional architectures covered the Ming dynasty,the Qing dynasty,the republic of China,and after the liberation period.Since I didn't find the form which was corresponding to the form of traditional architectures in Zhangkeng village from previous studies,so I divided the traditional architectures in Zhangkeng village into four types,including Big Mountain-House type,Linear Building type,Pillar-Supported Dwelling type,and Soil and Wood House.The paper draws the outline of the form of Zhangkeng village and the traditional architectures'morphology systematically.It's not only adds to the study of the traditional villages located in remote areas in the middle area of Fujian province,digging the features of the traditional village and the traditional architecture in Zhangkeng,but also provides the foundation and basis for the protection of the traditional village in central Min,and it has the important theoretical and practical significance of how to deal with Today's culture,the trend of economic globalization and the creation of contemporary architecture at the same time.
