Research On Product Design In Residential Interior Decoration

Through 20 years’development,residential interior decoration is becoming a thriving industry which has large out put value annually.Residential interior design is closely related to people’s daily life,it directly reflects and influences the quality of life.Because of the poor foundation of the whole industry and it’s speeding development,residential interior decoration is always existing many problems,such as unstable quality in decoration,material wastes,low out put value per capita and the great labor mobility.With the improving requirement to the decorating quality,the original mode of sale and administration is difficult to have any breakthrough.The industry needs to break the original situation and bravely innovate,transform from serving business to product business,return to the green and sustainable routine.The transformation in residential interior decoration should not be only limited in the decoration industry,also needs to be extend to the real estate field and the furniture business.In this way,the residential decoration business can have cooperation competition with upper and lower business.Different residential decoration enterprises have researched the development direction in distinctive ways.Through the analysis of 3 representative enterprises’ researching practice,three main developing modes are summarized.They are modes of the refined decoration,integrated products and the price package.By comparing and analyzing to them,the mode of integrated products focusing on design is the most potential one to develop.This paper takes the design practice from Hirun Interior Decoration as the primary objective,and researches the mode of integrated products.Mode of integrated products is based on the concept of integrated products,taking design as the core.Its design system is comprised of the appearance design and the function design.For the production of appearance design,12 representative design themes based on the systematic summarization of interior styles since the 20th centry are proposed.They are the grasping of contemporary fashionable interior design styles and the comprehensive classification to the practice of residential interior designer.For the production of functional design,15 refined design systems in functionality is put forward and is taken as the evidence for the functional design.They are based on the analysis of clients’ functional needs,the imitation of life circle and the single-product resolution.This paper is going to interpret how to realize the residential decorating mode of integrated products through the production system of appearance and functionality by analysis of practical cases,and then provide valued experiences and evidences for future development of residential interior decoration.
