| With the development of globalization,regional culture has gradually lost its traditional value and status in people’s mind.Although globalization has brought vivid progress in fields of culture,technology and economy,traditional culture has suffered a lot.Protecting and inheriting Chinese culture is every Chinese people’s responsibility.For designers,they bear the responsibility more than others.In this multi-cultural background,how to deeply exploit the potentialities of Chinese traditional culture to reflect regional culture is a new and profound proposition.This thesis first discusses the development of environmental art design.With the consideration of the special circumstances in Meishan area,comprehensive analysis is given in aspects of geographical and cultural phenomena in Meishan.Through cultural study of Meishan,excavating a design method that satisfies modern people’s aesthetic taste as well as adopting traditional regional culture design techniques is the aim of this thesis.This thesis detailed describes cultural environment and natural environment in Meishan area,analyzes why Meishan regional cultural formed and unscrambles Meishan Cultural Park.With combination of design,it further argues the practical meaning and academic value of regionalism,which has influence on the inheritance of Chinese Meishan culture.Through analysis of Meishan cultural characteristics at all levels and study of its regional features,the author proposed the principles of interior art design in Meishan areas,design strategies and scientific methods as well as constructing specific design methods and theoretical frameworks.Finally,design practice about it was also carried out,which brings theoretical views into design practice.The reality and feasibility of theoretical study was further demonstrated.The author thinks that the regional design theories and specific design methods that were concluded in the thesis can provide theoretical instructions for design projects of similar type and references for the heritance and expression of regional culture. |
