With the constant changes of social economy,culture and social environment,people have a more sober understanding and pursuit of the contemporary value of traditional culture.The form and aesthetic connotation of wooden frame are the soul of China’s traditional wooden architecture.How to deeply interpret its connotation,and at the same time,transform it with the techniques of contemporary design and construction logic,so that it can be widely used in various environmental designs,which has important practical significance and practical value for establishing the modern design form and style of our nation.From the perspective of new regionalism,this paper analyzes various translatable forms of traditional wooden frames,summarizes their application methods and principles in modern interior design,and expands the contemporary research ideas on Chinese traditional architecture system to meet people’s growing sense of national identity and belonging.This research adopts the methods of literature,comparative analysis and interdisciplinary research,committed to the theoretical and practical research on the form analysis and interior design of traditional wood frames,intended to take the new regionalism theory as the basis of the research,and discussed the application research of the form translation and interior design of traditional wood frames under the new regionalism,and how to meet the new needs and new normal of the current society.First of all,through the new regionalism theory,the paper sums up the morphological characteristics of the wooden frame and deconstructs its unique aesthetic emotional connotation;Secondly,analyze relevant design cases at home and abroad,summarize the significance and role of wood frame form in different regional characteristics,and summarize and analyze various abstract forms and basic transformation methods of wood frame in terms of form,space,structure and aesthetics;Finally,based on the previous theoretical research and design practice analysis,four application principles of traditional architectural wood frame form in interior design are put forward: form translation,shaped modern space,regional expression,and adaptation to modern aesthetics.It also summarizes five application methods,namely,form abstract transformation,space construction,structure decomposition and isomorphism,material integration and intervention,and new media art emotional interaction.It has realized the deep integration of traditional architectural wood frame form and modern interior design language,which has inherited and developed the traditional architectural wood frame art and enriched the regional characteristics and cultural connotation of traditional architectural wood frame form.The innovation of this study is based on a wide range of theoretical research and design practice,according to the guidance of the new regionalism theory to explore the transformation and design application of traditional building wood frame form.Its epochal nature and national characteristics conform to the aesthetic value of mainstream traditional culture.The various possibilities of traditional wood frame forms are integrated into modern design language to obtain more diversified and vivid design effects and aesthetic mood.Finally,the significance of this study is to propose design principles and methods that combine theory with practice,national sense with modernization,practicality with artistry.I hope this paper can provide some theoretical and practical guidance for the related design practice.
