The Construction Practice Of Majitang Contemporary Rural Architectural Craftsman

Building craftsmen is the core strength of rural house construction,but the concern for them is still far from enough.Since the reform and opening up,the construction of rural housing is very large,But this huge construction movement is lack of professionals,the rural construction craftsmen became the main force of this movement.Construction craftsmen were originally amateur farmers,With the refinement of the professional division of labor,They gradually developed into the core strength of the rural civil construction.,and they will continue to bear the burden of rural construction in the future.However,The important position of the construction craftsmen in the rural housing-construction has not been recognized.,their power has not been well used.In this paper,On the basis of the investigation of Majitang area,Research on their house construction practice,Sum up the experience of the construction of the craftsman,and to reflect on the experience of craftsmen,and put forward the optimization strategy in order to provide reference and help for the research and practice of rural housing.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter,describing the research background,research object,research scope,research purpose and research methods.The second chapter,introducing the location,historical summary of Majitang,and the development of the construction team in the area,the evolution of rural house were described,Summarizes the different period of rural house in this region,and summarized the craftsmen in different period to participate in the construction of rural house.The third chapter,analysis on the characteristics and current situation of the craftsman,Summarizes the characteristics of the current situation of craftsman:decrease in number of employees,older,no young labor supplement and business decrease.And through the field survey and mapping of rural house,getting a further understanding of the works and the building ideas of craftsman.The fourth chapter,on the basis of investigation,from the plane,elevation,space and the detail four aspects,analyze the rural house built by craftsman,Sum up its characteristics and sort out the reasons behind the formation of these characteristics.The fifth chapter,it summarizes five principles that the craftsman have to follow:Economical and practical,flexible,low technology,local materials and craftsman leading construction.These principles respect the local economic and technical level and cultural tradition,and it have the function of guiding practice.But these principles should not be rigid,and should be updated in a timely manner.The sixth chapter,After reflect on the craftsman experience,Put forward the specific optimization strategy of craftsman experience,And further points out the important position of architects in rural house construction,Discussed the attentions and the participation way of architects in the construction of rural housing.
