Low-energy-consuming Design Research For Rural Residences In The Lake Area Of Northern Hunan

As the construction of "beautiful countryside" is proposed,the acceleration of the new rural construction as well as the substantial increase in the total quantity of the constructed rural residences has contributed to the rise in total building energy consumption.Rural construction is supposed to shift attention from the high-energy-consuming and high-polluting traditional production mode to the low-energy-consuming sustainable mode.Considering that the lake area is equipped with special landform and climatic environment,it is of some significance to studying the low-energy-consuming design strategies suitable for the rural residences there.By dint of field survey and analysis,this paper makes a summary about the ecological self-built system of existing rural residences as well as corresponding problems.Then,based on relevant research achievements,the basic research orientation and design elements are determined,and besides,the low-energy-consuming strategies suitable for the rural residences in the lake area of Northern Hunan are also summarized.This paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter is introduction,which revolves around research background,significance,object,content and theoretical foundations.The second chapter performs a field survey and analysis.With the three typical villages in the lake area of Northern Hunan taken as the object and the field survey data as the basis,this chapter analyzes and generalizes the current situation of rural residences and energy use in this area,as well as carries out an analysis on the energy-saving potential.The third,fourth and fifth chapters elaborate on low-energy consuming design strategies based on architectural planning,individual building and architectural details from macro and micro perspectives.The third chapter simulates outdoor wind environments on the condition of different residential layouts and figures out the architectural layout most appropriate for the rural residences in the lake area of Northern Hunan.The fourth chapter analyzes and generalizes the low-energy-consuming design strategies for the rural residences in the lake area of Northern Hunan from three angles,including shape design,plane design and space design.The fifth chapter optimizes the scheme for existing old residences and brings forth an appropriate technical scheme system and design guideline for rural self-built houses.Finally,the author sums up this paper in the hope of improving people'sconsciousness of building low-energy-consuming residences,and providing some references for the construction of rural residences in the lake area of Northern Hunan to reduce building energy consumption and better the living environment through this study.
