Design And Research On Storage Space Of Urban Residence

In recent years,’storage’ becomes a hot word of home life.However,with the improvement of people’s living conditions,the huge and various items that people purchase make home environment congested.Besides,the insufficient space and unreasonable design of residence cause people great distress and greatly affect the quality of people’s lives.Therefore,how to solve various storage problems and make interior space became neat and orderly,becomes the common concern to people.The first part of the thesis(Chapter One)explains the research background,defines the scope of the research object and research content,also summarizes the related present domestic and overseas theory research and practice,and puts forward research methods and research framework of the thesis.The second part of the thesis(Chapter Two)analyzes the storage need of urban residence.First of all,it summarizes the related theoretical analysis.Secondly,based on the constituent elements and the level of demand,it explores the specific content of demand,discusses the factors affected the demand of storage,such as the family structure,living space,lifestyle,regional differences and so on.Finally,it uses the real state investigation methods such as questionnaire survey and field case research,to summarize the common and different problems of storage space of urban residence on the basis of understanding of current storage demand,and further analyze the urban residence demand and expectations of storage space.The third part of the thesis(Chapter Three)puts forward the basic principles of storage space design according to living real state investigation results.In view of main problems to storage space of the urban residence,it proposes the corresponding design methods and strategies for storage space of different function rooms of residence in the aspects of exploring effective space,refined design of space,scale design of storage space,form of storage space and variable storage design.At last,on the basis of above analysis,it further elaborates the design concepts and strategies for storage space of the urban residence according to respective case analysis of different area of residence.The thesis focuses on analyzing storage of space in perspective of space design,and in accordance with the practical needs of in different urban resident group,proposes appropriate solutions to build a comfortable and neat,organized and convenient household environment through rational and efficient storage design,and improve people’s quality of life.
