Study On The Design Of The Storage Space In Urban Dwellings

The design of Storage in recent years has become the focus of urban living life.With the change of people's living conditions and living habits,people's needs for the storage are rising.Meanwhile there exist some unreasonable problems of the storage space in Urban Dwellings,such as,lack of storage space,crowded living space etc.These problems bring a lot of inconvenience to people and affect the quality of life.Therefore,how to solve a variety of storage problem becomes a urgent need when conducting in-depth study of urban residential housing.This paper focuses on the urban family storage requirements and puts forward the application of storage design in the specific living space on the basis of the corresponding design principles.Chapter one describes the research background,the current situation and the literature,the significance,methods and ideas of the research.Chapter two explains the design of the relevant theory,analyzes and summarizes the relationship between housing and interior design and furniture design,and explores the concept,classification,function and influencing factors of the storage space.Chapter three summarizes the specific demand of the urban housing to the storage space.Chapter four puts forward the corresponding design principles and methods for the residential storage space,aiming at the main problems of the urban housing storage space.Chapter five describes the specific application methods of the storage in different living space including porch,sitting room,bedroom,study,kitchen,and bathroom.The method and the details of the residential space storage design are presented in the last chapter.The purpose of this paper is to draw designers' attention to storage design,creates a comfortable,beautiful,clean and orderly home environment,and enhances the quality of life of the residents of the city.
