Secondly,why should introduce the narration into small scale in square design? Thirdly,how many types of small-scale square? In which way can narrative design be used ? The fourth,in the exact same place,why the narrative design expression looks different? The fifth,is there any principles to follow in the narrative design of small scale square? What are the design methods?Based on the questions mentioned above,this article launches the research contents:The first chapter mainly elaborates the origin of the study,the background of this paper,problems,methods,and puts forward a research framework of this article.The second chapter mainly review the concept of small scale city plaza and narration,followed by an overview of the possibility and necessity of narrative design in small-scale city square,provide theoretical support for the following research.The third chapter is on the basis of the discussion above on small scale city square,types of small scale city square are classified,and the related cases of different types of square analysis,analysis of narrative design strategies they use,provide the realistic support for the next research.The fourth chapter take the transformation of city public space into the square in Jiuru Alley,leek Park Street,Furong District,Changsha City as an example,the author witnessed the whole case,expounds the different expressions of narrative design on the same base,form which the author gets three points of view,and get,provide more abundant and realistic basis for the conclusion drew in the following part of paper.The fifth chapter is on the basis of the previous discussion,summary the principles and methods of narrative design in small scale square.Among them,the first principle is to follow the certain theme,so the first step in the design method whiche the architects should do is looking for a suitable topic.The author hopes the study not only can enrich the theory system research of small scale city square design method,but also can provide instructive contributions to some experts,scholars.
