The regions of northwest part of Yunnan Province possess multi-bio environment and immense overlaps of humanity history. The space type in the region of nations nearby are still highly keeping the raw landscape and self-control in culture. The area in Dali are famous with its exceptional scenery Mountain Cang and Erhai. The thesis researches on the method of regionalism mixed-use design by learning the local nature, the civil building and the valuable cultural legacy. The research of design locates on Haidong City as the upcoming construction range in the east of Erhai road. The question is how to design concerning the civil requirements, traditional aesthetic judgement as well as modern tech. Thus, the method of narrative undoubtedly could organize the activities and better memorize tourists.Meanwhile, architecture is a sort of science based on space. The architectural creation would never get rid of the space narrative whether referring traditional or other national building style or even just on photography. Here as the mix-use building research itself, space narrative will better pursue the design entry points and for more concentration though narrative comes with natural time factor. Then the space exist full of incident or even affair as the way text narrative do with the inverted order, parallel order, interspersed order and panorama order etc.At the same time, the thesis also discusses the narrative operation in site topography for landscaped in Haidong area. This brief discussion extends the narrative from building itself to the whole site-space scope. At last, the thesis insists that the space narrative research and the practice are still on the way for most of narrative could barely illustrates the real stories and the expected scene, which needs more re-thinking and more trials.
