| Forest resources are currently the largest carbon pool in the terrestrial ecosystem and play a pivotal role in addressing the greenhouse effect and reducing carbon emissions.With the realization of the ecological service function and trading function of carbon sinks,forest resources have economic benefits,can be circulated and traded in the market,and realize the economic development of forest carbon sinks.This paper proposes to combine carbon sink management with wood management,use theory to analyze the discipline of influence between the two,and verify the dynamic impact of carbon sink economics on wood prices,so as to adjust the wood price market by means of carbon sink policies and means,providing a new study for timber price optimization management.The perspective will promote the orderly development of the wood market,and further increase the income level of forestry enterprises and mobilize their enthusiasm for forest management.On the basis of summarizing the research contents of the predecessors,this paper points out the shortcomings of the existing literature.Secondly it analyzes the development status and influencing factors of wood prices,and leads to the relationship between carbon sinks and wood,and then analyzes the value of carbon sink to the price of wood through theoretical analysis.Thirdly the paper calculates the carbon sink by the forest stock accumulation method,and uses the shadow price method,the carbon tax method,and the afforestation cost method to calculate the carbon sink price under market transactions,carbon tax subsidies,and voluntary compliance environments.It can estimate the economic value of carbon sinks in Jiangsu Province by the forest resource inventory data.Finally,use the economic value of carbon sink and wood price data of Jiangsu Province to build a VAR model,to verify the impact of carbon sink economic value on wood price by impulse response function and variance decomposition.The following research conclusions are drawn:(1)The total economic value of forest carbon sinks in Jiangsu Province is a gradual upward trend.It is estimated that by 2020,the total value of carbon sinks will be reached from 12.014 billion yuan to 31.703 billion yuan.With the steady increase of forest stocks,the economic value of forest carbon sinks in Jiangsu Province will also increase simultaneously.Jiangsu Province has great market prospects and potential in forest carbon sink trading.(2)The impact of carbon sink economic value is a positive response to wood prices.For forest managers,maintaining and increasing the value of carbon sinks will,to a certain extent,promote the rise in timber prices and bring them higher levels of income.This also shows that the carbon sink function of forests has a non-negligible status on the growth of forests.We should make appropriate considerations in the process of forest management,and we cannot consider the output of wood alone and ignore the value of forest carbon sinks..(3)In the fifth period,the value of the economic value of carbon sinks caused the largest positive response to wood prices.At this time,the price of wood is the highest in the positive response to the economic value of carbon sinks,and the comprehensive value of carbon sink income and wood income is maximized.It not only realizes the dual value of wood harvest value and forest ecological value,but also promotes the realization of the comprehensive income of forestry enterprises in forest management,and effectively realizes the optimal allocation of resources.(4)The contribution of economic value of carbon sinks to wood price fluctuations is about 48%,and maintain a stable trend at this figure.The government should pay attention to the economic value of forest carbon sinks,incorporate them into the wood price management system,guarantee the interests of forestry enterprises,mobilize their initiative and enthusiasm for forestation,and transport excellent logistics personnel and stable human resources for the development of China's forestry. |
