With the development of the five major development concepts of "innovation,coordination,green,openness,and sharing",green innovation has increasingly become the focus of attention and the object of attention.Green innovation is to enable the economy to achieve green development and sustainable development.Provide motivation and ways to achieve high-quality economic development.However,there are many problems in the development of green innovation in China at present,such as low innovation level and low innovation efficiency.Industry-city integration is an important means for cities to solve the problem of industry-city separation,and it is increasingly important for urban development.Green innovation will be affected by industry and environment,and the integration of industry and city will have an impact on industry and environment.The performance of the city-industry integration is characterized by continuous optimization and upgrading of the industry,complete urban infrastructure,complete public service facilities,and green and friendly development of the ecological environment.These developments are conducive to green innovation,so the industry-city integration is expected to become an important way to improve the efficiency of urban green innovation.Studying the impact of industry-city integration on green innovation efficiency is of great significance for better promotion of green innovation efficiency.Based on the existing research on industry-city integration and green innovation efficiency,this paper uses 37 large and medium-sized cities in China as research samples to study the impact of industry-city integration on green innovation efficiency.Firstly,the mechanism of industry-city integration on green innovation efficiency is analyzed,mainly from five aspects including industry balance,job-resident balance,consumption balance,ecological environment,and infrastructure included in industry-city integration.Secondly,select indicators from the five aspects of industrial equilibrium,job-residential equilibrium,consumption equilibrium,ecological environment,and infrastructure,and use the entropy method to evaluate the level of urban-urban integration;from the perspective of green innovation input and output,use the DEA-SBM method to measure cities Green innovation efficiency.Next,the full-sample and sub-sample of fixed-effect regression models are used to analyze the impact of industrial-urban integration on green innovation efficiency.The results of the study show that the integration of industry and city have a positive impact on theefficiency of green innovation,based on the results of the research,the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the efficiency of urban green innovation are proposed from the perspectives of industry-city integration,job-housing balance,infrastructure,and ecological environment.The main policy recommendations are as follows: first,promote the coordinated and integrated development of cities and improve the level of urban-urban integration;second,implement targeted and differentiated industrial-urban integration strategies to promote green innovation efficiency;and finally strengthen urban green construction and promote urban green development.Through the above analysis of the impact of industry-city integration on green innovation efficiency and suggestions for countermeasures,on the one hand,it has enriched the empirical research on industry-city integration and green innovation efficiency;To improve the efficiency of urban green innovation,thereby speeding up the transformation of China’s economic development model and helping the economy to develop green and sustainably.
