Environmental education has become an important means for foreign national parks to raise awareness of environmental protection among residents and tourists. However, due to the pilot work of national parks in China, the construction of national parks with nature reserves as the main body is still in its infancy. The relevant environmental education theory and practice research is still in the transformation stage, which leads to the protection of nature reserves and the neglect of tourists. The demand for environmental education by stakeholders such as residents has made the contradiction between the protection and development of nature reserves increasing.Based on this, this paper takes 14 national nature reserves in Fujian Province as research objects, based on stakeholder theory, landscape ecology theory and communication theory, using field research,in-depth interviews and text analysis to reveal environmental education in nature reserves. The status quo, problems and their influencing factors, and drawing on the national park concept to propose environmental education model optimization recommendations. The study found that:(1)Fujian Province's nature reserves are all equipped with targeted management regulations. The nature reserves are basically built with ecological museums, science and education propaganda centers, etc.,including lectures, brochures, fire drills, and publicity.Simple environmental education activities such as film and school management cooperation;(2)Field research and analysis show that environmental education in Fujian Province still has problems such as unclear goals, single mode, tedious process and poor effect;(3)word frequency and semantics Network analysis shows that the main causes of environmental education activities in nature reserves include uncoordinated appeals of different stakeholders, imperfect infrastructure, lack of high-quality environmental education design and management talents, and imperfect organizational structure. In theory, the study draws on the national park concept and further enriches the application of stakeholder theory in environmental education in nature reserves. In practice,it reveals the obstacles to environmental education in nature reserves and has important research value.
