A Study On Huangkan's Mourning Dress

According to the Book of Sui :Record of Classic Works,which written by Wei Zheng,and The Study on Confucian Classics written by ZhuYiZhun,there are a lot of works on mourning dress.Huangkan,the famous Confucian classics study on The Three Rituals in Emperor Liangwu Period.Though most of his works had lost in the history,it still is the most complete data about the mourning dress written by six dynasties scholars.In this paper,the writer will try to analyze HuangKan ' s mourning dress by following parts:The first is to analyze the existing information on the mourning dress of HuangKan.It mainly keep on Waseda University,which only remain one volume,and some save on LiJiZhengYi,compiled by KongYingDa.Through comparison and analysis to them,we will find that KongYingDa always quoted from HuangKan without point and misunderstood the meaning of Huangkan's intentions.The second is to analyze principle of ZunZun and QinQin,which is thought the most important principle in six mourning dress principle.They can be widely found and used in all aspects of family or society,such as monarch-subject relationship,father-son relationship an so on.And HuangKan made the further analysis in mourning apparel system,try to settle disputes which left by ZhengXuan.On the other hand,he also want to related the rites to his times.
