| With the rapid development of the global economy, the shipping industry has become one of the most important industries in the world. As the total volume of international cargo transportation is increasing, interpersonal communication is becoming more and more frequent.Ro/Ro passenger ship,as an economical and convenient means of transportation, plays an important role. However, due to the large capacity of passenger and cargoes, the safety of Ro/Ro passenger ships has attracted much more attention. For Ro/Ro passenger ships, the structural features such as high superstructure, headboard or stem springboard, lack of transverse bulkheads in the vehicles cabin bring convenience to transport, but also bring some risks.Once the Ro/Ro passenger ships are in danger, the consequences can not be imagined. Therefore,it is very important to do a good job in the safety assessment of the Ro/Ro passenger ship navigating in heavy sea.Firstly, this paper introduces the structural characteristics of Ro/Ro passenger ship, then analyzes the influence of heavy sea on Ro/Ro passenger ship, and then constructs the hierarchical structure index system of "man-ship-environment-management".Because of the fuzziness and randomness of the index factors which affect the safety of Ro/Ro passenger ship navigating in heavy sea,in order to minimize the limitations of expert questionnaire and improve the accuracy of evaluation results, this paper attempts to introduce cloud model theory into the safety evaluation of Ro/Ro passenger ship navigating in heavy sea.Based on the advantage that cloud model can transform qualitative description and quantitative calculation,a safety evaluation model of Ro/Ro passenger ship navigating in heavy sea is established to deal with fuzzy information and uncertain information in evaluation factors better. Finally, the feasibility of the model is verified by a voyage of Bohai Baozhu navigating in heavy sea.And this method can provide a reference for the safety evaluation of Ro/Ro passenger ship in the future. |
