The development of China’s economy has also driven the annual increase in timber imports year by year.In just over ten years,China’s wood consumption has increased by 200%.This data is enough to show that China has become one of the largest wood consumption and importing countries.At present,China’s wood consumption is more than 600 million cubic meters,and its dependence on foreign countries is close to 60%.Data show that by 2020,China’s total timber demand will exceed 850 million cubic meters.90%of China’s timber imports are done by sea.In order to’ adapt to the development of the timber transportation industry,there are higher requirements for timber ships,no longer just traditional bulk and general cargo ships.However,due to the peculiarities of timber ships and their cargoes,shipwreck accidents often occur due to certain reasons during transportation,causing serious consequences.Therefore,the timber ship is recognized as a very dangerous ship.In the process of timber shipment,many factors must be considered,such as wood length,wood,wood hygroscopicity,etc.,different navigation areas,different operating seasons and different levels of crew operation,etc.will have a bearing on the navigation safety of the ship.influences.The"Jiadingguan" ship of China’s timber ship was caused by the damage of the hull after entering the storm and failed to correctly judge the danger and take the correct rescue measures to lead to the ship’s loss.Therefore,it is particularly important to carry out.safety assessments for timber ships with heavy winds and waves.This article takes the timber ship as the research object,introduces the characteristics of the timber ship and its cargo,and introduces the main routes of several timber ships in the world.Analyze and compare several evaluation methods,and then conduct an in-depth study on extension theory and extension comprehensive evaluation method,and introduce it into the safety assessment of timber ship heavy wind and wave navigation,the indicators for safety assessment were further enriched.The index system for the safety assessment of the timber ship’s heavy wind and waves was established.Based on the survey,the actual situation of the ship and the questionnaire survey of the captain and crew were determined to determine the value of the assessment indicators.It also introduces the extension dynamic weights based on the extension correlation function,combines the AHP method to construct the index combination weights,and builds the extension theory-based timber ship heavy wind and wave navigation safety assessment model,and obtains the results of the ship safety level.Important factors that may affect the safety of ship navigation.Finally,the actual ship is selected as an example to verify the evaluation method in this paper,which provides a reference for the safety study of the timber ship sailing in the strong wind and waves,and has a certain role in ensuring the safe navigation of the timber ship...
