At present, the problem of the increasingly deteriorating ecological environment has become the most serious challenge facing all of humankind. How to form a green development model that conserves resources and protects the environment is an issue that needs attention in social development at this stage. In the future, vocational college students will become the basic first-line groups in various industries in China, mainly the first-line production sites of the first industry or the service industries of the third industry. The environmental education level, environmental skills and behavioral standards of these students are largely The environment has a greater impact, and at the same time is directly affected by the environment. The relative lack of environmental education for vocational college students will directly affect the awareness and application of environmental protection in future work and life. This is manifested on the one hand.A small number of environmental graduates cannot meet the needs of related environmental posts every year.On the other hand,non-environmental vocational college students generally receive environmental education through the Internet and the media. The understanding is relatively shallow, and there is no systematic understanding of the relationship between environmental issues, sustainable development strategies, and environmental protection policies and regulations. Therefore,it is necessary to carry out targeted “environmental education” in vocational schools. This study is based on the perspective of "green education" and from the perspective of "focusing on the overall development of students",and aims to provide a certain reference for cultivating vocational college students to become modern high-quality talents with both high environmental literacy and professional skills.Based on the related theories of environmental science, pedagogy, educational psychology, and teaching theory, this paper analyzes and studies the current situation and existing problems of environmental education in vocational college students from the perspective of green education through questionnaire survey methods.I have my own opinions and suggestions. The main contents are:(1)analyzing the current situation of environmental education and education level of the students of Shandong Metallurgical Technology Institute, analyzing the main problems in environmental education in vocational schools;(2)cultivating environmental education talents in vocational schools from the perspective of "green education" The research mainly discusses from the aspects of training objectives, training forms, and training implementation paths;(3)A case study of teaching design for environmental education talent training in vocational colleges from the perspective of "green education".The main conclusions are as follows: At present,China pays less attention to environmental education in vocational colleges, students have weaker environmental awareness, and lower levels of environmental protection behaviors. In order to solve this phenomenon, researchers propose the definition of talent training goals for environmental education in vocational colleges.School education and school-enterprise cooperation combine the two types of training, and the implementation methods of training include: improving environmental education and teaching resources in vocational colleges, infiltrating environmental education in vocational college education and teaching, building environmental education associations and organizations There are four basic implementation paths for setting up environmental theme activities and developing school-based courses for environmental education in vocational colleges.
