Xinzhou dough modelling in Shanxi is a traditional handicraft,which is an important part of Shanxi.The historical development of it has been thousand years.Xinzhou dough modelling carries local people's worship of nature,the ancestors of the memorial,wishes to relatives and friends and the yearning of a better life.It contains Shanxi people's bold enthusiasm of art appreciation and embodies the simple local conditions and customs in Shanxi.It has a very high historical and cultural value.In addition to the living environment,social customs,the objective factors such as economic development,the development of Xinzhou dough modelling is also affected by the subjective ideology,cultural intension and cultural factors.So the heritage and development of Xinzhou dough modelling should not only focus on crispy noodles itself modelling,color,culture,value and so on,also need to explore the internal factors of restricting crispy noodles development innovation.Single sensory characteristics of this paper,taking Shanxi Xinzhou and dough modelling,Xinzhou dough modelling origin,development and present situation for bedding,dough modelling around through the contrast research,analyzes the different characteristics of crispy noodles in different areas,sorting out the Xinzhou unique style dough modelling,development condition and discusses the various sensory characteristics under the multi-sensory experience combined with the design.In the end,the author summarizes the existing dough modelling design elements,as well as to the traditional arts and crafts heritage and development,and set with dough modelling as the design practice,the concept of multi-sensory applications in traditional dough modelling craft design innovation.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,this paper takes the concept of multi-sensory design as the theoretical basis of design practice.This paper studies the formation principle of human sensory characteristics from the physiological and psychological aspects of the concept of multi-sensory design.Through the analysis of non-inductive design cases,the author sorts out the inspiration of multi-sensory design,which provides theoretical support for the following research.Secondly,this paper analyzes the classification,artistic value and characteristics of Shanxi Xinzhou flour flower,and makes an in-depth study on its developmentstatus and existing problems,so as to explore the possibility of innovative development.Then,this paper summarizes the objective conditions for the inheritance and development of Xinzhou dough modelling in Shanxi Province,and summarizes the single sensory characteristics of Xinzhou dough modelling paving the way for the combination of flour flower and multi-sensory design.Finally,through the introduction of sensory combination theory of Xinzhou dough modelling design,this paper analyzes the design elements corresponding to its artistic characteristics.And discusses the design link between the two.Finally,through the design practice of the dough twist machine,the theory is applied in practice.This paper brings enlightenment to the inheritance and development,shape design and development mode of Xinzhou dough modelling,which is of great significance to the inheritance of Chinese traditional handicraft.
