At present,as an emerging energy industry,gas plays a role in promoting urban planning and economic development,and has introduced various favorable policies for this country.So how to make the project management cost achieve higher economic benefits in the gas project engineering process has become a topic of discussion in gas companies.Local governments have optimized the ecological environment for energy conservation and emission reduction,promoted the entry of gas into thousands of households,introduced government policies to support enterprises,and invested heavily in funds.However,due to corruption in some areas,insufficient management capacity and backward technical level,the project has not been completed.To high-efficiency control,resulting in excessive deviations in the cost budgets of the pre-,mid-,and post-project construction.Therefore,it is especially important to study the cost management of gas industry engineering projects.From project bidding to completion of project,it is always in the whole process of project management.Therefore,project cost management is one of the core contents of project management,and gas project cost management will be.The key to the competitiveness of gas companies in the market.The article selects x company as the research object,studies the problems and causes of the project cost management process and proposes solutions.The article will be based on the development of engineering project cost management theory and the literature review of current scholars’ research on engineering project cost management.Taking the company’s gas engineering as an example,based on lean management research method and whole process dynamic analysis method,analyze gas The problems in the cost management of engineering projects and their causes,and then put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions.The cost management theory is applied to the x company gas engineering project,which provides a theoretical basis for the company’s engineering project cost management.The research believes that the project cost management budget can be improved by establishing the cost management awareness and standardizing the cost budget.The project visualization platform is used to monitor the project content to strengthen the project process.The network procurement platform and engineering material classification model are built to strengthen the project.Inventory material standard management;improve the internal value stream analysis of the enterprise to improve the project cost management method;optimize the cost assessment mechanism to establish a sound cost management system.The above countermeasures can help x company improve the project cost management level.
