Application Of Reflective Material In School Uniform Design

School uniforms are the clothes adolescents wear in school everyday.They are the embodiment of students' identity and campus culture.They also bring students a sense of security and belonging.The protective design of school uniform can not be ignored.It can be considered from the aspects of fabric selection,structure and function design.With the popularization of safety marking application of reflective materials,more and more schools begin to require uniforms to be equipped with certain reflective markings.Reflective markings have been stipulated as rigid standards in many areas.Starting from the safety of students walking outside school at night,this paper discusses the design and application of reflective materials in school uniforms,and studies the effect and problems of reflective materials in school uniforms.Considering the characteristics and properties of reflective materials and the safety of students' clothing,we know the current situation of protective design of school uniforms at home and abroad,investigate teenagers' traffic accidents,and analyze the data.We think that the application of reflective materials needs to be paid attention to.At present,the selection of materials and the diversity of design are still insufficient.On the basis of consulting relevant literatures and referring to the requirements of reflective cloth design and sewing for students' reflective school uniforms in national standard documents,this paper probes into the application parts,design forms and material selection of reflective design in school uniforms,and finally designs a series of middle school students' school uniforms focusing on the application of reflective materials,and prints out a series of middle school students' uniforms.After making ready-made clothes,the test results were analyzed.The students' experience showed that the reflective effect of school uniforms was obvious,the reflective parts were appropriate,and the reflective forms were various.The purpose of safety warning for students walking at night was achieved,and the effect of traffic safety protection was certain.It was hoped that the future design of safety protective students' clothes would be prospected and referenced.
