In recent years,as China has implemented the "the Belt And Road" initiative,more and more construction companies have gone abroad,build infrastructure for "the Belt And Road" related countries.At the same time,the domestic building area and total output value continue to rise,our construction is thriving.But according to statistics from the 2017 building safety accident,construction safety accidents occur frequently in China,the situation is still very serious.Therefore,it is urgent to strengthen the safety management of construction projects.First of all,this paper elaborates the research background,significance and research status at home and abroad.The main contents of this paper are summarized by using scientific and reasonable research methods.Then,the concept of safety management is introduced,and the current situation and characteristics of safety management of " Jingxi Tianjun " project are analyzed,and the problems in the project safety management were pointed out,such as inadequate implementation of safety production responsibility,weak safety management,inadequate safety education training and lack of safety emergency mechanism.In addition,this paper also introduces the concept of risk source of construction project and PDCA theory,identifies the risk source of "jinxitian county" project by comprehensive application of expert investigation method and safety checklist method,and evaluates the risk level of risk source by LEC method.According to the principles and methods of hazard control,corresponding control and management measures are taken for different hazards.Finally,PDCA cycle management mode is specifically applied to the safety management of " Jingxi Tianjun " project to improve and optimize the safety management of the project.In phase P,the project safety management objectives are defined,and the hazard sources of the project site are identified and evaluated,so as to identify major hazard sources;In phase D,we should increase safety publicity,create a good safety atmosphere,strengthen the responsibility system for production safety,implement the safety education system,make known the safety technology,focus on comprehensively managing subcontractors and major sources of danger,ensure the quality of safety materials and the input of production safety funds;Phase C and phase A are to carry out safety inspection according to the safety management objectives and relevant standards,collect and improve the problems found in time,promote the successful safety management experience into the system.Follow the cycle of such steps to continuously improve the level of project safety management,and successfully achieve the goal of project safety management.On the basis of referring to the research on building safety management at home and abroad,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the current situation and characteristics of the project safety management of " Jingxi Tianjun ",and puts forward the specific application of PDCA theory to the improvement and optimization of project safety management,which has a certain reference effect on the safety management of construction projects in China.
