This report studies some aspects of international strategy of Carpet Master,the carpet and rug manufacturer in Thailand,which aims to develop a further distinctive strategy for the company to implement.The effective international strategy is based on a source of competitive advantage that exploits on one of these factors and aligns the formation of all its activities in support of that advantage.After examining the various problems,risks,and opportunities facing Carpet Master as regards internationalization in terms of its current position,the mechanism such as businesslevel strategy are discussed to improve the performance of the company.The research focus on utilizing a variety of methods including SWOT,PESTLE and Ansoff Matrix.The overall objective is to provide the company with the opportunity to develop strategic management strategies.This report includes interview of management to again further understanding on the internal analysis of Carpet Master,including the role of the company involving the resource capabilities and company's value chain aimed to promote international expansion.Effective measures such as organizational structure and resource allocation are set out to provide Carpet Master with the necessary resources that have proved to be key factors in a successful international process.After a thorough evaluation,it was concluded that the company should continue engaging in their existing strategy and improve their export capabilities,while at the same time engage in differentiation strategy via the use of customizable products being offered to end customers within their existing market.These two strategies are likely to help the business to improve their revenue streams and further improve their brand awareness in the market.
