Study On The R&D Project Management Of Yongxin Paint & Coating

China is a big country of paint & coating production and consumption.In 2018,China's total paint production reached 20,364 million tons and keeps the world first for many years.But the paint-related enterprises reach 30,000.The number of coatings enterprises is so big,but the scale is small.The paints & coatings are widely used especially in the field of architectural area and industrial coatings.There are many kinds of coatings products,and the user market is highly subdivided and specialized.The research and development of coatings needs to develop rapidly and to response to the market accurately;and the progress,costs,results controlling are much higher than the institute or college.All these make the R&D activities of coatings enterprises are market-oriented,efficient,and cost-controllable.This paper takes Yongxin Coatings as the research object.It analyzes the Yongxin's R&D project management problems and causes through comprehensive using enterprise field research,in-depth interviews,literature analysis,etc.It analyzes the underlying causes of the lack of control of the three elements(time,quality,and cost)based on theoretical knowledge such as project management,human resource management,and quality management.The author puts forward corresponding optimization plans from the aspects of organizational structure,performance evaluation,incentive system,management communication and so on.It also expounds the organization,system and resource guarantee for the implementation of the above-mentioned programs.We hope to provide theoretical guidance for improving the current situation of poor control and inefficiency in Yongxin Coatings' current R&D project management model,and also provides reference for other domestic coatings industry enterprises to improve the efficiency of R&D project management.
