Cultivated land resources are a very scarce and non-renewable agricultural natural resource that is vital to the survival and development of human beings. However, people’s awareness of the protection of cultivated land resources is weak, coupled with the irrational use of cultivated land, the abuse of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural film and other substances, resulting in soil compaction, soil pollution and degradation, resulting in the continuous reduction of cultivated land area, ecological security issues,Ecosystem balance is threatened, which constrains agricultural production and socio-economic sustainable development.Faced with such a severe form,we are looking for the optimal allocation of cultivated land, transforming land use patterns, and relying on limited cultivated land resources to achieve the greatest economic, social and ecological benefits of intensive use of cultivated land, and to achieve intensive use of cultivated land while coordinating Optimizing ecological security issues is a topic that many scholars are competing to study, and it is also a key issue that needs to be solved urgently. This article takes the Jianghan Plain as the research object, constructs the intensive use of cultivated land and the evaluation index system of cultivated land ecological security, uses the entropy method to determine the index weight, and establishes a coordinated development evaluation model. The intensive use of cultivated land and ecological security in Jianghan Plain from 2000 to 2016 Analysis of the developmental season and spatial changes. Finally, using principal component regression analysis to analyze the driving factors affecting the coordinated development level of the two,and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.Research indicates:(1)In terms of time, the level of coordinated development of the Jianghan Plain from 2000 to 2016 has been upgraded from a sub-category of reluctantly coordinated arable land to a sub-category of well-coordinated development-type arable land.At the same time, the intensive use level of cultivated land and the ecological security level of cultivated land are generally rising, and are continuously improved and optimized. However, since 2008,the ecological security level of cultivated land has started to be lower than the intensive use level of cultivated land, and the gap between the two has gradually increased.Pay attention to the protection of the ecological environment.(2)In terms of space, the coordinated development level of different cities has obvious regional differences. From 2000 to 2016,the coordinated development level of the cities in Jianghan Plain continued to rise.Especially in Wuhan and Yichang, the coordinated development level was the highest. In 2016,the quality and coordinated development were achieved, followed by Jingmen,Xiaogan,Jingzhou and Xiantao. All are well coordinated development, and finally Qianjiang and Tianmen City, with a low level of coordinated development and a coordinated development of intermediate level.(3)Analysis of driving force factors shows that: socio-economic factors, scientific and technological factors and production internal friction factors are the driving factors affecting the coordinated development of cultivated land intensive use and ecological security in Jianghan Plain.Among them, social and economic development is a key factor. The higher the level of economic development, the higher the level of coordinated development. It is positively related to the level of intensive use of cultivated land and the coordinated development of ecological security.Secondly, the factors of science and technology and the factors of production internal consumption also have a significant impact on the intensive use of cultivated land and the level of coordinated development of ecological security.(4)Although the relationship between the intensive use system of cultivated land and the ecological security system of cultivated land is a good coordinated development type, there is still a certain gap in the distance to achieve high quality coordination. Therefore,in the future, the way to improve the overall coordinated development level will firstly continue to maintain the intensive use of cultivated land and develop the intensive development path of farmland;secondly, protect the ecological environment, increase investment in capital and technology, and solve the existing ecological security problems.Maintaining the balance of the ecosystem, combining economic development with the protection of cultivated land, narrowing the gap between the two systems, and finally achieving a better and higher level of coordinated development.
