The Study Of Thai Foreign Students Of Understanding On Chinese Dietary Culture

In recent years,due to the rapid development of China's economy and the rapid improvement of its international status.Many foreigners begin to attach importance to Chinese and begin to learn Chinese.The number of Thai students studying in China is also increasing.Thai students coming to China should live in China for a long time and inevitably contact with Chinese food culture in their life.This paper takes the Thai students studying in Guangzhou as the research object,and deeply understands the Thai studentsl understanding of Chinese food culture.In research method,the paper used one to one semi-structured interview,and designed the interview outline based on Cognition of Chinese cuisine,Chinese dietary concept and Chinese dietary etiquette.Through the analysis,it is found Thai student'understanding of Chinese catering culture remains at a very superficial level.Thai students think that Chinese people are very warm and hospitable when they invite guests to dinner.Thai students have a negative impression on Chinese restaur as a whole.Thai students think Chinese food with strange ingredients not valued food health and safety.Thai students think that Chinese people eat strange foodThe change of Thai students'perception of Chinese food culture is mainly first is the change of foreign students' perception of Chinese food.second is the change of foreign students perception of Chinese food culture.The reason why Thai students recognize Chinese food culture is that,firstly,Chinese food in Thailand has been localized,and Thai students mainly recognize Chinese food from movies,television,books and oral transmission.Second,there are few opportunities to contact Chinese food culture and the frequency of use is lower.Third,The negative impression of Thailand students on Chinese restaurants is the stereotype of Thailand students andThai students have higher requirements for food hygiene.The influence of Chinese dietary culture on Thai students has the following aspects.One is to continue to use the Chinese way of caring for guests.Second,when eating with people who know Chinese etiquette,they choose to use Chinese dietary etiquette.When eating with people who don't know Chinese dietary etiquette,they don't choose to use Chinese dietary etiquette.Third,they like to cook or eat Chinese food after returning home.This paper puts forward three suggestions.First,Thai students before coming to China can try to have a preliminary understanding of Chinese food culture through various ways.Secondly,schools should increase food culture experience activities.Third,Chinese restaurants should improve their dining environment and hygiene.In order to improve Thai students' understanding of Chinese food culture.At the same time,it can help Thai students quickly adapt to Chinese food culture.
