In this paper, taking the folk embroidery skills of Gaoping in Shanxi Province as an example, using the first-hand information obtained from the field survey, the productive protection of folk crafts is discussed. The text is divided into three parts:In the first chapter, starting from the theory of cultural capital, the unique skills of Gaoping embroidery and its development and inheritance are discussed in depth.Rich cultural capital gives Gaoping embroidery a strong driving force for development. At the same time, the limitations of cultural capital also limit the speed of embroidery. The difficult technical requirements make it difficult to cultivate excellent inheritors. The loss of skills and the inadequate ability of cultural innovation directly affect the development and production of embroidery products. In the second chapter, the author analyses two inheritance modes of Fenglin Embroidery Factory,a production protection base, and explores the impact of productive protection and external environment on the inheritance of core skills of Gaoping Embroidery,as well as the current inheritance dilemma of Gaoping Embroidery.Chapter three, from the two aspects of traditional techniques and cultural implications, analyses the survival of the authenticity of Gaoping embroidery.Under the temptation of economic interests, the authenticity of Gaoping embroidery has been destroyed at different levels. In particular, the large-scale substitution of machine embroidery for manual skills is the most fundamental destruction of its authenticity.Subsequently, based on the current situation that the authenticity of Gaoping embroidery technology has been destroyed to varying degrees, the survival mode and protection measures of the authenticity of folk crafts are explored.
