The Research On The Inheritance And Development Of Folk Embroidery In Eastern Hubei Province Under The Background Of The Revitalization Of Traditional Crafts

Since the Ministry of culture launched the revitalization plan of traditional crafts,the protection and development of traditional crafts have received extensive attention from all walks of life.Folk embroidery belongs to a category of traditional crafts with distinctive local characteristics and unique artistic charm.It is an important part of China’s folk culture and a representative product of regional culture.A number of folk embroidery in the southeast of Hubei Province had been listed in the national and provincial intangible cultural heritage list.With the development of modern industry,the living conditions of these folk embroidery works are as precarious as the fate of most traditional crafts.Among them,Huangmei Cross-Stitch and Yangxin cloth stickers have been listed in the first batch of national traditional craft revitalization catalogue.Therefore,the revitalization and development of folk embroidery in Southeast Hubei is imminent.This thesis takes folk embroidery in Southeastern Hubei as the research object,which consists of six chapters: the first chapter is introduction.Through the retrieval of relevant literature in recent years,the research status of traditional craft revitalization and folk embroidery in Southeastern Hubei is analyzed,and the value and innovation of this topic from the perspective of traditional craft revitalization is expounds.The second chapter is the general situation of folk embroidery in Southeast Hubei.From the historical and cultural origins,artistic aesthetics and its inheritance and revitalization of the multiple values are analyzed.The third chapter discusses the inheritance and development status of folk embroidery in Southeastern Hubei.The first-hand information of its status is obtained through field investigation and interview,mainly including the basic situation of the inheritance group,the main inheritance methods and the current development trend.In the fourth chapter,on the basis of the previous study,the difficulties faced by the folk embroidery industry in Southeast Hubei in the process of inheritance and development is summarized,including the problems of talent team,industrialization,publicity and education,and safeguard mechanism.And the reasons of these problems are analyzed in detail.The fifth chapter is the strategic thinking of revitalizing folk embroidery in Southeast Hubei,which is the focus and difficulty of this paper.Based on the perspective of the revitalization of traditional crafts,corresponding countermeasures are put forward from the principle of productive protection and integrated protection of intangible cultural heritage,including strengthening the linkage effect of various functional departments,expanding and cultivating the heritage talent team,improving the market competitiveness of products,multi-channel financial support and integrated protection of regional resources.The sixth chapter summarizes and prospects the research of this topic.Through the research of this topic,the following conclusions can be drawn: First,Southeast Hubei folk embroidery is a living fossil of regional culture with high artistic value and humanistic value.It is a precious cultural resource,which deserves further protection and reasonable development.Second,as a traditional folk handicraft,in the rapid development of industrialization,Southeast Hubei folk embroidery is Facing the serious inheritance crisis.At present,it has not found a reasonable way to solve the difficulties on the road of industrialization development.Third,the inheritor is the core subject of the inheritance and continuation of folk embroidery in Southeast Hubei.The protection and promotion of inheritor is the key of revitalizing folk embroidery.Fourth,the practicability and aesthetics are core characteristics of folk embroidery,which should be driven by innovation in the context of the new era.In order to better move towards revitalization,folk embroidery should integrate with modern production and life,and meet people’s material and spiritual needs.Fifth,The overall protection and cultivation of cultural ecological environment of folk embroidery should be attached importance to which in favor of healthy and sustainable development of regional cultural diversity.Sixth,the revitalization and development of folk embroidery live in Southeast Hubei can be achieved through the concerted efforts of all sectors of society,including governments,schools,public and so on.
