Suzhou embroidery is the general name of Suzhou embroidery products,its birthplace in Suzhou Wuxian area,has become a embroidery type.There are many places outside Suzhou,such as Suqian,Wuxi,Changzhou,Baoying and so on.The research of this paper is based on the following two basic social facts:first,Su embroidery exists in all aspects of people's life in the traditional society,serves people's daily life,and is mainly practical;Secondly,with the change of the times,the daily function of Su embroidery is obviously declining compared with the traditional society.Su embroidery tends to become a work of art,and the gap between the daily life and Su embroidery is getting bigger and bigger.Based on the fact that Description and analysis of social facts,this paper will further discuss the possibility of Su embroidery returning to daily life.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter discusses the relationship between Su embroidery and daily life in traditional society.In this chapter,this article will point out that in the traditional society,especially after the Song and Yuan dynasties,Su embroidery is widely used in all aspects of daily life,such as daily supplies,life etiquette supplies,including Su embroidery used on occasions such as marriage,funeral and marriage,birthday celebrations,and so on.Su embroidery is also often used in religious activities.In a word,in the traditional society,although there are also "embroidery",but generally speaking,Su embroidery and daily life is very close.The second chapter discusses the contemporary embroidery in the protection of non-legacies.In this chapter,this paper will mainly discuss the contemporary inheritance of Suzhou embroidery as a "non-legacies",including the status of inheritor protection,Su embroidery into campus and productive protection,focusing on the status quo after Suzhou Zhenhu Town Su embroidery became "non-legacies".The third chapter discusses the gap between Su embroidery and contemporary daily life.In this chapter,the author firstly discusses the tendency of Su embroidery to "elite art"after the protection of "non-legacies",and then discusses that the consumption group of Su embroidery as "elite art" is no longer the ordinary people,but mainly the state and the government.Finally,this paper discusses the new situation of the separation of the production base and the market of Suzhou embroidery in Zhenghu Town.Based on the analysis of these three points,this paper puts forward that with the change of the times,the cracks between Su embroidery and contemporary daily life become bigger and bigger.The fourth chapter discusses the possibility of Su embroidery returning to daily life in modern society.In this chapter,on the one hand,this paper discusses that Su embroidery should attach importance to its practical function in modern society;On the other hand,it is pointed out that in order to return to daily life,Su embroidery needs not only to strengthen the aesthetic education of traditional handicrafts and cultivate the consumer groups of high-end handicrafts,but also to "look down" by Su-embroidery masters,and not to blindly turn Su-embroidery into art.But in the Su embroidery and contemporary daily necessities aspect to walk a new road.
