Research On The Design Of Folk Mask Pattern In Guizhou

The mask is a very important cultural carrier in Guizhou folk art.It is the main symbol in the traditional sacrificial rites.It embodies people's spiritual beliefs and aesthetics in its special external form.The mask reflects the mysterious concept of Guizhou Nuo culture and folk custom for thousands of years,and also reflects the group wisdom of Guizhou folk artisans.The traditional folk culture of Guizhou folk masks has unique regional cultural characteristics and rich tourism resources.It has broad market prospects and great artistic value.This article is inspired by the protection and promotion of traditional Chinese mask culture,a comprehensive study of the artistic features and graphic patterns of folk masks in Guizhou is conducted from it's origin,classification,cultural connotation and other aspects.This article analyzes the current situation and the development of folk masks in Guizhou through investigation,and explore new ideas of mask graphic design in terms of form and content,combined with modern design.In view of the development prospects of folk masks in Guizhou,this essay proposes to use cultural resources of Guizhou folk masks as the inspiration of art design and fully explore the local cultural resources of Guizhou masks,establish brand awareness,pay attention to the modern design of Guizhou folk mask as well as the multilevel development of derivatives,which not only reproduces and promotes the traditional folk culture,but also inherits and protects the folk mask culture of Guizhou.The graduation design is based on the deeply analysis and research of Guizhou folk mask art,through practical investigations and in-depth study of relevant theories here and abroad.With the combination of traditional graphic elements of Guizhou folk masks and the modern aesthetic concepts,this graduation design reconstructs the graphics of Guizhou folk mask,and strengthen the public and entertainment in it's practical application.This research also provides the foundation and material for the continuation of the traditional Guizhou folk masks culture,and carried out a useful exploration for the protection and inheritance of this culture.
