With the improvement of economic level and the upgrading of consumption concept,the demand of the young generation of children's wear consumers is no longer limited to the material properties of products.The spiritual and emotional satisfaction has aroused the attention of consumers,and the humanization,personalization and fashion have become the new demands of consumers.Therefore,the method combing of children's wear design is particularly important,which is consumer-centered and based on the emotional demands of consumers.Based on the emotional design theory,this paper makes a deep research on the ideas and methods of children's wear design innovation.Firstly,the concept and characteristics of emotional design are sorted out based on literature,and the emotional action levels of instinct,behavior and reflection and the corresponding product attributes are summarized.On this basis,the concept of emotional design of children's clothing is put forward,and its aesthetic characteristics are summarized.Secondly,through the analysis of the current situation of domestic children's wear brand design,the necessity and urgency of introducing emotional concept into children's wear design are further explained.After that,the basic background information,consumption behavior characteristics and aesthetic preference of the mainstream children's clothing consumer groups were learned through questionnaire survey,in-depth interview and observation.Based on this,and combined with the three-level theory of emotional design,the emotional demands of consumers for children's clothing were further explored.Thirdly,it puts forward the corresponding design principles and methods according to the emotional demands.On the basis of clarifying the transformation relationship between emotional demands and design methods,it sums up the aesthetic features of empathy,symbiosis and naturalness in children's clothing emotional design.Finally,the research results are verified by design practice.The research mainly draws the following conclusions: first,emotional factors are an indispensable part of children's wear design process,and the development of children's wear emotional design has its inevitability and necessity.Second,the new generation of children's wear consumers have three different levels of emotional demands,namely,the instinctive level has the needs of visual aesthetic and tactile comfort,the behavioral level has the needs of game experience and improved utility,and the reflective level has the needs of family emotional expression and spiritual connotation.Third,the emotional design method of children's clothing is oriented by consumers' emotional demands.The instinctive design method aims at the visual and tactile pleasure of consumers,and focuses on the appearance of children's clothes,including subtraction and addition.Behavioral design method aims at the fun of wearing,pays attention to the functionality of children's clothing,and can be subdivided into interesting interactive design and multi-purpose design.Reflective design method aims at spiritual satisfaction and emphasizes the significance of products,including scene construction and concept implantation.
