With the advancement of science and technology,digital technology has become increasingly sophisticated.Digital welding machines and digital control technologies have entered the market steadily.Domestic automation welding technology will develop at an unprecedented speed.This "automation" trend is bound to have a certain impact on the production relationship and talent structure of the traditional welding industry.In this situation,it is especially important to make scientific and effective assessments of the welding staff's ability to work.This paper analyzes the influencing factors of the welding operation and establishes an evaluation system for the welding ability of the welding practitioners.It is hoped that this study can provide a reference for the training planning of the welding industry and provide direction for the welding practitioners to improve their own operating capabilities.Firstly,the main actions of the electric welding process and four kinds of work postures were studied.The influencing factors of electric welding practitioners' job ability were analyzed from the three evaluation perspectives of physical work ability assessment,mental ability assessment,and skills ability assessment.Hand stability,hand strength,finger flexibility,hand coordination,visual acuity,and reaction speed are the evaluation indicators of electric welding work ability.Then through the method of questionnaire survey,the subjective evaluation results of the importance of each evaluation index were obtained.Secondly,the basic research ideas for the assessment of the welding ability of the welding practitioners are determined by subjective evaluation and objective experimentation.Twenty subjects were chosen for experiments to complete the experimental collection of selected evaluation indicators and the actual working ability of the welders in objective experiments.After the objective experiment was completed,the evaluation criteria of the selected evaluation index and the actual working ability of the welder were determined.Then,according to the previously collected objective experimental samples,a linear weighted comprehensive evaluation model and a BP neural network model were established for the welding staff's operating capabilities,respectively,and theywere verified.Through the comparison and analysis of the error rate,the BP neural network model was selected as the final evaluation model for the electric welding practitioners' operating ability.Finally,the formula and algorithm of the electric welding operator's evaluation model of work ability were programmed,and the evaluation software for electric welding operators' work ability was created.
