Research On The Development Of Handicraft Industry In Qocho Uighur Kingdom

Qocho Uighur Kingdom was located in Turpan Basin of the Western Regions,it was an important place on the land Silk Road.The uighurs migrated from Mongolia Plateau and Established this country for Five centuries,it had gone through the end of the Tang Dynasty?Five Dynasties?the Song Dynasty?Kara-Khitan Khanate and the Mongol Empire.As the political,economic,and cultural center of Qocho Uighur Kingdom,Qocho was a multi-ethnic settlement.different cultures have merged here,conjuring a unique atmosphere.it Formed a unique regional culture.Uihuur came to here and learnt a lot from aborigines who lived in Turpan,they absorbed whatever valuable in the ancient civilizations from Che Shi,Han,Sogdian,Tocharian,Turkic and Tibetan.They combined their own nomadic culture,formed a rich culture of Gaochang.The current scholars focus on the political and economic research in the Kingdom,but they lack of research the hand of the Gaochang Industrial Development.They are not familiar with the category and the origin of handicraft industry of Qocho Uighur Kingdom.Therefore,the history of the development of the handicraft industry of Qocho Uighur Kingdom is worth thinking and studying.Uighurs inherited the rich farming civilization of Turpan,Agriculture is different from a single nomadic economy,it brings more lucrative benefits to the nation.People had enough energy to engage in other industries,The prosperity of agricultural production helped the development of the handicraft industry.Uighurs inherited the handicraft civilization from Central Asia,West Asia,the western region and the Central Plains.From a single nomadic handicraft industry,uighurs developed a rich farming and settling handicraft industry,it mainly including the textile industry,the wine making industry,the metal processing industry,the glass manufacturing,the paper industry,the printing industry,the lacquer manufacturing industry and the musical instrument industry.They had enrichd Uighur's social life,they also promoted the development and innovation of handicraft technology in other areas.About the Handicraft industry of Qocho Uighur Kingdom,the Chinese historical records is lack of record.So,we have to rely on Uighur social and economic documents.This paper is based on the interpretation of the Uighur documents,Start to study the Handicraft industry of Qocho Uighur Kingdom.in order to comprehensive and deep research,I take the murals of Grottoes in Turpan,Kuche,Yanqi and Jimsar,The unearthed cultural relics in modern times,and the murals and documents of the Dunhuang Grottoes as a supplement.From the perspective of linguistics,history,ethnology and Archaeology,to explain the Handicraft industry's development of Qocho Uighur Kingdom.
