Transformational leadership assists to enhance the motivation,confidence,and employees job performance thru several mechanisms;these contain linking the employee's wisdom of independence and self to a development plan and to the cooperative organizational identity;being a character model for followers to inspire them.This study aims to measure the association between transformational leadership and employee innovation performance along with the meditating effect of perceived organizational support.We collected the required data with the help of structured survey questionnaire from the employees of oil industry in Yemen.Data was analyzed using AMOS v20 and applied structural equation modeling(SEM).The results from the path analysis shown that there is a significant positive impact of transformational leadership on employee's innovation performance while perceived organizational support partiality mediates this relationship.Organizations should take initiative to boost the leadership behaviors among managers which could serve the innovation orientation.Leadership qualities should be stressed on leaders of both sectors – governmental or non-governmental order to function well and serve the orientations.
