| Industry revolution brings pollution as well as high-speed development to the world.Until now,developed countries are still fighting with environmental problems.Nevertheless,situation in those developed countries have been significantly improved,while in developing counties the problems are just began to intensify.It is said that developing counties should and can avoid retaking the old “treatment after pollution”way.But studies of Environment Kuznets Curve suggest that,pollution aggregation will not stop until economy has reached a certain level.Chinese water environment situation is quite according with the EKC theory.Although the regulation has began early in the initial stage of economy development,water quality is still getting worse and emergencies are increasing.It is explained in this way that china has not been rich enough to consider environment,as there is population below the average line of Chinese individual income level.Some scholar who study cost-benefit theories advices that,Chinese regulation efficiency has no improvement during these years’ investment enlargement.But environment deterioration have began to have serious impact on residents in china if wee do not set an efficient mechanism as soon as possible,there will be irreparable disasters in the future.Hence,it is necessary to go on studying china’s environment policies progress and current application situation to secure detail direction of future revolution.This thesis first analyzes different regulation’s advantages and disadvantages.Then describes water pollution situation in China,summarizing the damage for domestic residents.Thirdly,regulation applied now in china as well as their efficiency is discussed,by the aid of two study tools— dummy variable and Kuznets curve.Based on those discussion argued above,the author gives few policy suggestions as the conclusion in the end. |
