Since Chinese government canceled the dual-track coal pricing system in 2013,the domestic coal industry enters into the stage of fully market-oriented and it will arouse more fierce competition.In the meantime,after the intensified integration of domestic coal industry over the past few years,the large coal producing companies further centralized and take the most superiority position in the market.At that moment,the oversupply situation has appeared because of over production.Impacted by low development growth of both domestic and international economy,the Chinese government emphasized and focused more on the environmental protection,and upgraded the standards on those regulations of pro-environment.Under this trendency,the development of the new energy,i.e.nuclear energy and hydro power have been accelerated,and the demand for coal-fired power generation has been weakened.Those changes had caused many coal companies to a new challenge towards its traditional management and profit margins,even threatened their survival.Therefore,how to plan aneffective and suitable developing strategy under the new economic condition has become a critical key question which will determine the fate of the company.The thesis stands at each specific coal business researchs under the new stage,to make an overall comprehensive analysis on new tendency and politics direction of domestic and international coal industries,thoroughly dissects the new condition of the domestic coal industry development,and selectively analyzes Guangdong Power Industry Fuel Co.Ltd(hereinafter as Yudean Fuel Company)as a thermal coal purchase and supply enterprise,with its strategy to deal with the complicated external situation and internal demanding for re-organization,and how to integrate and dispatch the coal resource in a more efficient way.This thesis will take Yudean Fuel company as an example.Through the accurate analysis towards itsnew strategy and implementation,it will try to provide the strategic support for the company to take the new opportunity and enhance business development,in order establish a competitive and advantage model which will take a successful position with its advanced management.To start with the introduction of the coal industry features,the thesis expounds the unique and general characteristics of the thermal coal company as an individual in operation and development compared to other enterprises,and further evaluates the internal and external factors by combining with the macro-economics,industrial environment and internal organization that Yudean Fuel Company values.On the basis of this,using the SWOT matrix to conduct information matching analysis and launch the Yudean Fuel Company coal business's strategic system,and propose how to conduct the strategic enforcement and control.The author tries to carry on the prospective theory on the existing and potential problems in the coal business of Yudean Fuel Company,through defining the management circumstance to strategically analyze and study present coal business,and to propose the specific solution,scheme the development direction and strategic position for the company's coal business under the new period,in order to provide the pre-forecast and instruction for the company's future actions.And it has certain guiding significance on the similar coal enterprise's future development through strategy establishment and enforcement,in the meantime,it also contributes to accelerate the healthy development of the domestic coal industry to enter into the complete marketization.
