| Regional economic differences are not balanced geographical phenomena in the process of national economic developmentand are also one of the hot issues at home and abroad.Since the reform and opening up,China's regional economic differences have been expanding.As an important corridor of the Silk Road economic belt,Hexi Corridor is very important to the economic and social development of Gansu Province,but due to the difference of resource endowment and regional development strategy,the imbalance of regional economic development in Hexi Corridor is becoming more and more prominent.Based on the above background,this paper reveals the temporal evolution characteristics of economic differences in Hexi Corridor by the absolute development differences measured by the range and standard deviation,the relative development differences measured by weighted coefficient of variation and Gini coefficient.The spatial correlation and heterogeneity of regional economic differences are reflected by the total regional differences and exploratory spatial analysis methods measured by exploratory spatial analysisand the influence of industrial structure changes on regional economic differences in Hexi Corridor is revealed based on industrial effect decomposition.Finally,this paper select quantifiable indicators from six aspects:natural endowment,investment level,industrialization level,government ability,regional financial conditions and consumption level touse OLS model and GWR regression model to make an empirical analysis on the influence mechanism of regional economic differences in Hexi Corridor.The research shows that:(1)On the time scale,the absolute and relative differences in the Hexi Corridor region are different,with the former showing a trend of expansion and the latter showing a trend of first expansion and then narrowing.(2)In terms of the overall spatial pattern,the overall economic characteristics of this region have not changedand the spatial autocorrelation of its economicdevelopment level is relatively strong.At the same time,it presents a pattern of agglomeration distribution.This regional economic difference stage characteristics are relatively significant,2000-2005 regional differences are shrinking,2005-2018 regional differences are constantly expanding,from the local correlation,Hexi Corridor "high-high" type," low-low " type distribution is uneven,the former concentrated in Yumen and Jiayuguan City,the latter concentrated in Gulang County.(3)The difference of secondary industry has become the main factor of the widening of the overall difference of Hexi Corridor due to the different level of internal resource agglomeration and uneven spatial distribution,but the contribution of secondary industry to the overall difference of Hexi Corridor has been decreasing year by yearand the contribution of primary industry.And tertiary industry to regional economic difference has been increasing,especially the tertiary industry,which has an increasing influence on regional development imbalance.The change of industrial concentration effect is the main factor of regional economic difference in Hexi Corridor.(4)Factors such as industrialization level,consumption level,investment ability,government economic ability and financial situation have a major impact on the regional economic differences in the Hexi Corridor.In different periods,the various influencing factors play a comprehensive role in the regional economic development of the Hexi Corridor,while the industrialization level and financial level have a great impact on the economic development of the Hexi Corridor area.The analysis results of geographical weighted regression model show that industrialization level and financial situation have become the main influencing factors of economic development in Hexi Corridor area,government strength is also an important engine to promote regional economic development in Hexi Corridor,consumption level and investment intensity have gradually decreased their impact on regional economy. |
