At present,the shrinking trend of China's traditional coalfield geological prospecting industry is intensifying.As a result of this,Company Y,as a traditional coalfield geological prospecting enterprise,is facing the dilemma of declining business volume and operating difficulties.In order to survive in the harsh operating environment,mastering the industry's advanced technology and opening up emerging markets is a way that companies must go,and the lack of "innovation" seriously restricts the company's development.Improving the innovation ability of an enterprise is to increase its core competitiveness.As the most basic unit of an enterprise,employees' innovation ability directly affects their innovation ability.The improvement of employees' innovation ability will inevitably lead to the improvement of enterprise's innovation ability.Therefore,it is particularly necessary for Company Y to improve the innovation ability of employees.This paper firstly learns and masters relevant theories of innovation by referring to a large amount of literature,and then based on the theory,designs questionnaires and interview outlines to comprehensively evaluate the innovation ability of Company Y employees.Evaluation includes innovation willingness,innovation ability,innovation performance,and environment of innovation.The evaluation results show that the innovation ability of employees of Company Y is generally low.At the individual level,there are problems that(1)Employee's willingness to innovate is relatively weak,(2)Employee's innovation-related skill level is low,(3)Employees lack teamwork and organizational leadership,(4)Employee's innovation performance level is low.In terms of factors influencing employee innovation ability.At the organizational level,there are problems that(1)Low innovation management ability,(2)The construction of innovative talent team is not perfect,(3)Lack of innovative competition atmosphere,(4)Incomplete innovation incentive mechanism.According to the evaluation results,according to the characteristics of Company Y,combined with the innovation theory and the experience of other companies,a strategy for improving the innovation ability of employees was formulated for Company Y from two perspectives,namely:(1)Cultivate employees' innovative ability,(2)Improve the level of enterprise innovation management.This article starts with the evaluation of company Y's employee innovation ability,and takes the improvement of employee innovation ability and then corporate innovation ability as the goal.In addition to the application of the improvement strategy formulated by company Y,for the same kind of geological exploration enterprises that currently regard improving innovation ability as the core task of transformation and development Language,has a certain reference role.
